At Guumali, we believe lasting change for First Nations communities begins with the respect, recognition, and protection of Human Rights.
We are guided by the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), endorsed by Australia in 2009. We advocate for stronger action to fully embed these principles into law, policy, and practice.
Human rights are at the heart of everything we do—from our community projects to our advocacy. We believe in empowering communities to lead the way toward self-determination, justice, and equity. Change begins with community, and we remain committed to supporting their rights, voices, and futures.
